Missions

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”  Matthew 28:19-20

Bible Baptist Church seeks to fulfill the command of Scripture to take the gospel into all the world. We are actively involved with missions in the following ways:

  •  Giving to Faith Promise Missions (over $113,000 given in 2009)

  

 

  •  Currently supporting 102 missionaries, children's homes,       and church planters

  

 

  • Hosting an annual missions conference

  

 

  • Sending teams on mission trips.  This February we took a team to Uganda, in July we will take another to the Dominican Republic.

 


 

  • Sending monthly letters to our missionaries

 

 

  • Adopting a missionary family

Mbira Baptist Church

Our Missions Conference was September 13-20, 2009.  We enjoyed a wonderful week with three of our missionary families.  Beginning Monday we had a special LNO with our ladies where we learned a lot about what it takes to be a lady on the mission field.  On Wednesday we had a question and answer time with each family and were able to learn a lot about missions and life in another country.  The conference was capped off with a special "Christmas" dinner Sunday night.  Our members brought gifts for the missionary families and received a blessing by being a blessing to our missionaries.  Click here to see pictures taken during the 2009 Conference.
